Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the VSmartKid mobile application, the website vsmartkid.com, our admin/teacher panel, and our STEM learning programs, classes, and kits (together, the "Service"), operated by Vellora Smart Kid Private Limited ("VSmartKid", "we", "our", "us"). By using the Service, or by a parent/guardian enrolling a child, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & accounts

The Service is for school students and is used by children with the consent and involvement of a parent, guardian, or school. A parent/guardian accepts these Terms on behalf of a minor.
Accounts are created by VSmartKid or its partner schools. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. One device may be signed in to a student account at a time; signing in on a new device signs the account out elsewhere.
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

2. The Service

VSmartKid provides STEM education through bilingual live online classes, recorded lessons, quizzes, project-based learning, hands-on STEM kits, progress reports, and 1-on-1 doubt-clarification sessions.
Course content, schedules, kits, and features may change or be updated over time.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Share, resell, record, redistribute, or publicly display our videos, materials, or kits.
Circumvent security features (e.g., single-device login, screen-recording protection, signed video links).
Share your account or login with others.
Use the Service unlawfully, or upload harmful, abusive, or infringing content.
Attempt to access another user's account or our systems without authorisation.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Intellectual property

All content, courseware, videos, software, trademarks, and kit designs are owned by VSmartKid or its licensors and are protected by law. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access the content for your own learning during an active subscription. No other rights are granted.

5. Fees, payments & subscriptions

Program fees are shown on our website/pricing and may be billed for 1, 2, or 3 year terms depending on the plan. Plans include online classes, books, and one STEM kit per year.
Payments are processed by our payment gateway (Razorpay). Taxes apply as per law.
Purchases made through the website are not processed through Apple App Store or Google Play in-app purchases.
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

6. Hands-on kits & shipping

Physical STEM kits are shipped to the address you provide. Title and risk pass on delivery. Kits are licensed for the enrolled student's personal educational use only.

7. Live classes & conduct

Live classes are delivered via Zoom and may be recorded for enrolled students' later viewing. Students must behave respectfully during classes. We may remove disruptive participants.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties including Google Firebase, Twilio, Zoom, Bunny.net, Razorpay, and the WhatsApp Business Platform. Your use of those features may also be subject to the third party's terms.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee specific academic results. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VSmartKid will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account from the app (Profile → "Delete my account") or by emailing support@vsmartkid.com. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or as required by law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Madurai, Tamil Nadu shall have jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
