Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to purchases of VSmartKid programs operated by Vellora Smart Kid Private Limited ("VSmartKid", "we", "our", "us"). Please read it together with our Terms of Service.

1. Free demo first

We encourage every family to attend a free demo class before enrolling, so you can experience our teaching and STEM kits before making a payment.

2. 7-day satisfaction window

If you are not satisfied, you may request a refund within 7 days of your payment date, provided that:

You have attended no more than the first two (2) live classes, and
The hands-on STEM kit, books, and any materials (if shipped) are returned unused and in original condition, or had not yet been dispatched.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, after deducting any non-refundable third-party charges (e.g., payment-gateway fees) and the cost/return-shipping of any kit or materials already delivered.

3. After the 7-day window

After 7 days, or once more than two live classes have been attended, fees are generally non-refundable, as access to classes, recordings, and materials has been provided. We may, at our discretion, consider pro-rata adjustments in exceptional circumstances (for example, documented medical reasons).

4. Kits, books & shipped materials

Opened or used STEM kits and books are non-refundable for hygiene and licensing reasons.
If a kit arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery for a free replacement of the affected item.

5. Cancellations

You may cancel future enrolment at any time. Cancellation stops future billing (for multi-year plans paid in instalments, where applicable) but does not by itself create a refund for the current term except as described above.

6. How to request a refund

Email support@vsmartkid.com from your registered email with the subject "Refund request", including the student's name, registered phone number, payment date, and reason. We aim to acknowledge requests within 3 business days and to process approved refunds within 7–10 business days.

7. App-store note

Program fees are collected through our payment gateway (Razorpay), not through Apple App Store or Google Play in-app purchases. Refunds for any purchases made through an app store, if applicable, are subject to that store's policies.
